Off-piste Ski/Snowboard Mini-safari

This is for Alpine skiers and snowboarders who are looking for a bit of excitement and a chance to improve their off-piste technique. If you’re always the stronger member of the group, waiting at the bottom of the slope, try pushing yourself a bit further with a two-day off-piste safari during your weeks stay with us. We can arrange short stay off-piste trips even if you aren’t in MountainBug accommodation.

The minimum group numbers are 4 people and the maximum 6, so you will have all the personal attention that you need.

Accommodation

For this week you have a choice of 3-star chalet or hotel accommodation, based in the traditional French mountain village of Barèges, in the Pays du Toy.

A typical itinerary

Off-piste day 1. Preparation and practice

With your qualified and experienced instructor, we’ll spend today learning and practising off-piste skiing or snowboarding techniques while experiencing some good off-piste routes.

Off-piste day 2. Pid du Midi descent

we’ll head to the Pic du Midi and descend from it not once – but twice. This legendary off-piste route is over 1000m vertical on one of the best off-piste runs in Europe.

This is a sample itinerary as, obviously, where you go and what you do depends on the weather conditions, snow conditions and your group’s ability and tastes.
