Many of our summer activities can be adapted for families with older children (8+ years). From 4 years old children can learn to ski, and of course we provide accommodation only options for younger families and advice on how to have a great family holiday in the mountains.

UIMLA (Union of International Mountain Leaders) and UIAGM (Federation of Mountain Guides Associations) leaders are the only people who are insured and qualified to take you out walking in the mountains; be wary of companies (even major operators) claiming to use "qualified guides" - they may only have a UK summer qualification, or none at all... We only use qualified, experienced, local guides for our guided walking and activity holidays
